China Telecom Network Contract wins by ZTE

 ZTE Corporation, a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, announced today that it has won a contract with China Telecom to build an IMS phase II network in China.

The ZTE-China Telecom contract includes construction of an IMS phase II network covering 12 Chinese provinces, including: Anhui, Chongqing, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Jilin, Liaoning, and Ningxia, Shanxi, Tianjing and Yunnan. When the project is complete, ZTE will have acquired more than 60 per cent market share of China Telecom’s IMS networks.

The contract is part of a long-term cooperation between the two organizations. It came about in part as a result of ZTE’s in-depth understanding of China Telecom’s existing networks and its ability to create customized solutions for the project. As part of the project, ZTE will provide fixed network transformation, security networking, development interworking and network evolution to China Telecom.

ZTE IMS serial NEs are based on its Enhanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ETCA) platform. The platform has superior performance and security saves energy. ZTE’s fixed network transformation solution can absorb all existing services while improving user experiences.

ZTE Launched Latest Android SmartPhones

ZTE Corporation, Chinese technological company, has announced two new smartphones, the PF200 and N910, to be revealed at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain next week.

These smartphones by the company will be operated at Google’s Android 4.0 i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich. These are LTE handsets with with 1.2GHz and 1.5GHz chipsets.

ZTE PF200 has 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen an 8-MP main camera and a 1080p Full HD capable front-facing camera for video-calling. It also gets near field communications (NFC) and mobile high-definition link (MHL)-HDMI output to connect to home audio and video devices. The phone also supports 3G/UMTS, GSM, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, WiFi, A-GPS and digital living network alliance (DLNA) streaming support.

The ZTE N910 has WVGA (800 x 480) capacitive touch screen and LTE FDD, CDMA and EVDO connectivity; along with a 5-MP main camera having autofocus and flash and a 1080p HD capable front video camera. It also comes with GPOS, WiFi and Bluetooth, along with DLNA streaming support.

ZTE V55 Android Honeycomb tablet leaked

The unannounced tablet by ZTE, Smart Tab V55 was revealed at the FCC with a Sprint logo at the backside. The device is not announced by Sprint or the ZTE but surprisingly we caught it flaunting at Bluetooth SIG. The tab is pocked with CDMA modem, Bluetooth and WiFi and runs on Android Honeycomb.
